FAQs - Circulation & Home Delivery

How do I subscribe to the ODT?

For home delivery, subscribe using the options above. For a digital-only subscription, subscribe here.

Where does the ODT deliver?

Home delivery is available across most of the South: Otago, Southland, and South Canterbury. We also do rural runs, which incur a rural delivery fee.

If we do not deliver to your area, you can sign up for digital access (digital replica of the paper, ODT.co.nz subscriber only content, and ODT+ app content). Digital access is included to all print subscribers at no additional cost.

Outside the delivery area, where can I purchase the ODT?

We have retailers in Christchurch and Ashburton who stock the weekend edition of the Otago Daily Times. You can access ODT digital replica and all stories on the ODT.co.nz with your ODT digital subscription.

What happens if my paper is not delivered, it's damaged or it’s wet?

As much as we try to avoid it, mistakes happen. If one morning your newspaper doesn't arrive or is damaged, we've made it easy for you to let us know. Click here for our guide on how to fix this

What is an ODT online account and how do I register?

An ODT online account lets you log in to ODT.co.nz to manage your subscription and account details. It's free to register but to unlock subscriber-only content on odt.co.nz, the full ODT+ app content, and the digital replica edition of the Otago Daily Times, you'll need a print or digital subscription. If you have logged into ODT.co.nz before, or supplied us with your email when you set up your print subscription, try logging in using the email associated with your subscription. You can reset your password if necessary.

How do I update my payment/credit card details?
